Nery Gomez is a founder, investor, and trusted advisor operating at the intersection of capital, psychology, and human development.

Nery is the Founder and Managing Director of Manhattan Beach Advisors, LLC, a boutique wealth management and advisory firm dedicated to helping high-net-worth individuals create sustained, generational prosperity through disciplined strategy, intelligent risk management, and clear thinking.

He is also the Founder and President of BlackSun Private Equity, Inc., a diversified private investment firm with interests across Sports, Media, Entertainment, Real Estate, and Innovative Technology. BlackSun focuses on building durable value by aligning economic performance with long-term human and societal benefit.

He is the Founder of Illumination Holdings, LLC, a holding company whose portfolio reflects his commitment to both economic health and personal well-being—recognizing that capital, when stewarded properly, is a tool for freedom rather than accumulation alone.

Earlier in his career, Nery owned and led The RIDE®, an award-winning fitness studio in Los Angeles renowned for its elite instructors, vibrant community, and culture of personal transformation. The RIDE® became a respected center for both physical excellence and human connection.

Nery is a published author, speaker, and entrepreneur whose work is informed by a rare blend of financial expertise and psychological insight. He studied Psychology and Economics at Tufts University and trained at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Beverly Hills, CA.

Originally from Massachusetts, Nery began his professional life in clinical and counseling settings, working at institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, Westwood Lodge Hospital, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. This foundation shaped his holistic perspective and refined his ability to listen deeply, assess complex systems, and guide individuals through periods of transition and growth.

Nery will complete Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 2026.
